My software for my deskjet 2520 won't open. the printer prints but i can't access the toolbox. i have windows 7 (32 bit). i re-installed the hp - 6473244. After that, the hp 2130 software won't open but printing and scanning (directly from hpscan.exe) is ok. the utilities is running only if certain issue happened w/ the printer (like paper out, ink iow, etc)..
Solved: hp printer assistant for hp deskjet 3510 series
If hp printer assistant does not open, and the printer setup & software screen displays, click connect a new printer, and then follow the on-screen instructions. restart the printer and computer to complete the installation.. I have a hp printer, copier, fax, scanner all in one printer. everything works but the scanner. the message says "make sure the feature is open. open hp printer software. select scanner actions. then. If hp printer assistant does not open, and the printer setup & software screen displays, click connect a new printer, and then follow the on-screen instructions. restart the printer and computer to complete the installation..
